We placed carryout order for a half meat lovers and half supreme pizza. Pizza was ready for pickup as soon as we got to Screaming Mimi's. Very good pizza and would visit again for more.
Best large pizzas in town! Great choices to choose from or build your own, but they never disappoint!
We stumbled upon this place while staying in Savannah. We loved the pizza! They described it as Jersey style. There were 8 of us and we were fighting over the last piece. Lol. A cute shop with nice outside seating.
I got takeout yesterday evening and I am trying to think of any cons to this place! I ordered a white ricotta slice as well as a side Greek salad. I thought that it was cool that you could customize/make your own slice if you wanted. I feel as though most other pizza places would just sell their basic pepperoni, cheese, sausage etc. I was shocked when I opened the box and saw the slice! It was at least a 1/4 of a pizza and was super yummy (they did not skimp on the ricotta). The salad was fresh and they packed that container to the brim. Very friendly staff as well
Pizzas are HUGE, so most of the time you might simply opt for a few slices. One slice is like two normal pizza slices. We had the Supreme Pizza and they LOADED it with toppings. It was almost like a sandwich when collapsing it to eat which made me think it could have used a little topping off seasoning but no points off there. Crust is super thin. The staff was helpful and, well, just happy and gave the place a fun vibe. We did pickup as it only takes about five minutes to warm up but if they had added a little more cheese, it would have needed a few extra minutes. If you’re in the area, I’d highly recommend stopping in.
Pizza was great and staff was friendly. We ate here for lunch on our first day visiting area. We were very pleased and will come back on next visit.
2 private chefs passing through, staying in Savannah for a month. This place rocks the NY style pizza as good if not better than Joe's pizza of NY! I had the BBQ chicken slice and of coursea slice of cheese. Decent prices as you would expect. My wife had the pepperoni We definitely recommend you start here first for pizza, you will not me disappointed.
Stopped in after our hotel recommended it. The pizza was outstanding, and the service was great. While we ate, at least 50 people came in for takeout orders. That shows how much the locals love this place. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Savannah.
